What you’ll do
In this role you will lead, and play a vital role, in our B2C Digital Front-End tribe which is currently part of a big transformation within Telenor. The B2C Digital Front-End tribe has a key role in our digital transformation journey with responsibility of e.g. development and operations of all our digital channels. We develop services and content that drives our digital business and service going forward, as well as simplifying and improving our customers everyday flow through a world class customer experience. We do this with an agile mindset and methodology closely with our friends in marketing where we always keep the customer in focus. Every day we try to learn more and ensure our teams happiness.

As our leader you will be responsible for two squads within the B2C Digital Front-End consisting of 15-20 co-workers. Both teams work in a full agile and cross-functional setup. You need to be passionate about people – recruiting, developing and shaping the team as well as driving a cultural shift from being re-actively accepting requirements to actively engage in the team mission, will be a major part of your responsibility. You will be the one ensuring we have the best people with the right knowledge at the right time, to deliver and maintain a modularized, speed-optimized digital front-end IT stack ensuring consistent customer journey across all our products with digital customer interactions and automated internal processes.

Moreover, you’ll work closely with your squads to ensure our vendors are performing up to our expectations, resolvement of any impediments that hinder the development of our systems as well as budget -and personnel responsibility.

Who are you

We are looking for someone with a desire and drive to shape the agenda for our digital channels and play a key role in our digital transformation. In order to succeed, we believe you need to have a developer background with solid technical competence within the digital domain and experience working as a manager in agile software development. Also, you would most likely have experience from an API centric digital service layer and various CMS’s.

We believe you are a person that makes an impact, easily engage people and help setting clear directions for a team. You know what a servant leader means, and you act as an ambassador for the organization of how to coach and develop the team. You are great at communication, change management but also business driven. You feel accountable for the work done and you take pride in challenging and changing the status quo. You dare to speak up when necessary and actively seek input and feedback to improve further.
