The major portion of ESAB business is made through an extensive and competent distribution network with a broad range of business partners. It is built into ESAB's business tradition to work closely with our business partners to effectively provide our broad range of leading products to demanding and professional customers. Today, ESAB has a leading network of business partners all over Europe and it is vital to develop and expand this network to secure satisfied customers and to keep our competitive edge.

To drive the development of our distribution network and channels we are now looking for a Manager Distribution and Channel Development Europe.

The Manager Distribution and Channel Management Europe will be responsible for the following three programs:

- The ESAB Advantage Program. Our Advantage program is our methodology and structure to develop and improve our business partners' performance and how we reward them for their skills, business achievement and growth.
- The ESAB Channel program. ESAB carries a broad range of products that we distribute through a number of different channels such as traditional welding houses, integrators of robotics and automation solutions as well as general distributors of tools and industrial consumables to name a few. With our ESAB Channel program we will secure that we have the right mix of channels now and in the future.
- The ESAB Footprint program. To be able to provide our customers with deliveries, skills and services matching their needs our geographical coverage and reach is of outmost importance. With our Footprint program we continually analyze our geographical footprint to find the right number, type and density of partners.

In your work you will be in direct contact with our 7 regions within Europe. You will be cooperating very closely with the regional management teams to secure that the three programs are driving competitiveness, customer satisfaction and business performance in an optimal way. You are part of a newly formed Business Development organization and you will be reporting to the Director of Business Development Europe. The team you work with is small but experienced and is working closely together to support the ESAB Europe to become even more competitive and to grow its business from an already strong base.

Qualifications
- Commercial and/or Technical education with a university degree
- Good understanding of business drivers that creates win-win relationships with distribution partners
- Practical business sense and understanding of how to create success in a multi-brand environment
- Understanding the need of multiple channels to market in order to penetrate different segments
- Ability to manage projects and drive results in cross functional teams.
- Experience of working with target driven sales organizations in the Business to Business environment
- Prior experience within the welding industry is an advantage but not a requirement
- Fluency in Swedish and English languages is a must. Additional European languages are a merit.

Business Development Europe is based in Göteborg, Sweden but your work will be all over Europe. For the right candidate it is an option to be based in one of our European offices as an alternative to working in Göteborg. Regular traveling within Europe is required.
