As Manager Downstream Processes Equipment & Filling, you will report to the Head of Industrial Development and will be part of the Industrial Development leadership team. You will manage a group of around 10-15 project engineers.
Responsibilities
The Downstream processes department is responsible for the transfer of industrial manufacturing processes to production, in accordance with industry standards and quality requirements, as well as providing technical expertise to the business. In this role, you will be leading and implementing development activities of the Equipment and filling group within Downstream processes. You are to ensure improvement within your area, taking quality, financial, environmental, and safety requirements into account. Other responsibilities in this managerial role include:

Leading (sub-)project teams and determining the appropriate approach for them

Distributing and delegating tasks between team staff to meet project plans and business goals
*
Developing and administrating the budget for the team and deciding on necessary purchases within the approved budget
*
Securing required competencies for the future by providing development opportunities for current employees, as well as recruiting new employees to the team
*
Contributing to the writing of development reports, and quality and regulatory documents.
*
Participating in and initiating continuous improvements of work processes
*
Following the technical development within the area, liaising with Galderma globally and attending applicable industry forums and meetings as required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you have several years of working experience in process development and scale-up activities, and preferably 1-2 years of management experience. Documented experience from a GMP environment and experience working on cross-functional projects is a requirement. Previous purchasing and validation activities for equipment are of value, as is an experience of working in cleanroom environments.
You likely have an academic education in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or similar and are fluent in both written and spoken Swedish and English.
