Manager Electrical Engineering

In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society. In this role you will provide strategic direction within the team's responsibility through technical knowledge and leadership.
Key responsibilities
Manage the headcount/resource need and ensure they are in line with the projects' needs and budget
Develop and maintain an effective team that delivers value to the organization
Develop capability and competence of the resources including training, development, and coaching
Follow up performance of team members and provide feedback to develop them
Provide technical roadmap for the competencies in the team
Provide technical support to team in electrical engineering
Responsibility for the quality of the team’s engineering deliverables
Follow company IP strategy and protect company IP when needed
Responsibility for following the processes in development



Qualifications/education/experience
Academic Engineering background, BSc or MSc or similar
Strong leadership and coordinating skills. Ability to lead, manage and mentor engineering team members.
+8 years of engineering experience and experience in Electrical Engineering is added advantage
Excellent English, written and oral skills
Experience working in international teams and with customers
Excellent analytical skills, especially in the field of design for safety, production, and serviceability
Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines, excellent time management
