Powercell Sweden AB develops and distributes advanced fuel cell systems for the transport industry and certain other high-tech markets. The company was founded in 2008. The technology is based on a unique fuel cell design that was originally developed by Volvo. Furthermore, Powercell Sweden has developed a fuel processor that converts several different fuels and biofuels into hydrogen gas. Products based on fuel cells have considerable potential for both replacing several existing technologies and developing into an important electricity generator in the energy system. Powercell Sweden aims to offer the market environmentally optimised fuel cell-based systems that produce electricity (www.powercell.se). Manager, electronics Today's prototypes are developed in the lab environment with a highly flexible electrical interface between the control unit and sensors/actuators. A suitable control unit (ECU) for our first product has been identified. As manager of electronics, it will be your responsibility to ensure that from the hardware viewpoint, Powercell's products meet the set requirements from user interface to electrical interface with sensors/actuators. Examples of work involved: Understand the customer's needs and transform them into requirement specifications for electronics. Requirement specifications regarding electrics/electronics for the various components (sensors/actuators/ECU/wiring) Lead hardware design of the product's user and service interface. EMC requirements, certification etc. Design of wiring, electrical components' placing in the system etc. Test specifications. Cooperation with sub-system managers of reformers and fuel cells as well as with managers of control systems/software and power electronics. Experience: We are looking for an applicant with experience of development in the fields of electronics, sensors and control systems.
