Are you interested in leading embedded software and firmware development for radar sensors, including development of new ways of working? We are looking for a manager with responsibility for a group of developers working with radar sensor functionality, and in addition also with the responsibility for moving our SW and FW development environment forward to modern and efficient ways of working
Your role
Your group has the responsibility to develop, test and deliver software and firmware functionality in radar sensors. The functionality is mainly implemented on FPGA platforms, with or without processor cores. Your group initially will have around 10 employees, working in teams approaching agile ways of working. However, the group most likely will need to grow to meet the operations workload and the need for developing our ways of working.
As a manager, you will be over all responsible for the group in terms of projects deliveries, budget, employee wellbeing, strategic development and resource and competence planning. You will be design responsible for embedded software and firmware deliverables. You will also be a team coach for two or three development teams with members from your and other groups. In addition, you will be responsible for moving our SW and FW development environment forward to modern and efficient ways of working. You might need to recruit competence in this area. You will lead and take part in continuous improvement initiatives and challenge our traditional ways of doing things for more efficient ways of working. You are expected to cooperate closely with the manager of another Embedded SW&FW group working with similar functionality.
You will be part of the Management Team and report to the Head of Digital Equipment Design. In the Management Team each member contributes with their individual experiences and skills to create an effective and dynamic environment. You are expected to work with your individual area of responsibility and as a member of the Management Team also interact and take part in the challenges of the other groups.
You will have close cooperation with others within the Engineering organization. Together we will build for the future.

This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
