Development & Engineering The D&E unit develops and produces packaging systems and distribution solutions for liquid food.The unit is part of the Tetra Pak Group which has a global coverage and key product development centres in Modena, Italy, Lund, Sweden, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.In Modena, Lund, and Minneapolis we provide product innovation and industrialization of packaging systems and distribution solutions including world class expertise in key competence areas as well as in raw material converting processes and equipment to our customers all around the world.Do you want an opportunity to build something from the start?Do you want an opportunity to create and develop a team and to position Engineering as a skill in the converting area? You will manage a team of 8 persons that is expected to grow over the next years.The Engineering department within Development & Engineering Packaging Material is responsible for manage and develop the engineering competence as well as securing skilled and motivated team members for the projects as well as driving the standardisation within the converting engineering field. As Manager of engineering you will have ownership of the design standards, design methods & tools, machine safety for Development & Engineering Packaging Material as well as ownership of the technical publications for D&E PM.Your main tasks would be to: .Manage & Develop Design standards in the Engineering Area .Manage & Develop the Design procedures, Tools and Methods .Manage & Develop Machine Safety and Technical Publications .Define standard components with global commercial agreements .Drive Supplier Management component suppliers and engineering consultants To be successful you will need to have 5 years of proven successful management background.You probably have a Master of Science within the field of Automation or Mechanical Engineering, preferably Automation. You will need to speak and write both English and Swedish fluently.
