Manager Diagnostic Analysis & Verification - Fault Tracing

The department Electric Propulsion System Engineering is a part of the Powertrain Engineering unit and is responsible for development of all major parts of hybrid and electric vehicle systems. Some of the responsibilities include sub-system such as batteries, electric drives, power supplies and chargers.

The group Diagnostic Analysis & Verification, Fault tracing consists of 15 engineers who are responsible to lead the EPS cross-functional work within Diagnostic Analysis & verification and Fault tracing. The Diagnostic team test and develop processes for the Diagnostic analysis needed for the hybrid system. The group is also responsible for the commissioning of the el & hybrid system. As a Manager for the Diagnostics Analysis & Verification - Fault tracing you are responsible for the overall management and long-term reliability of the Group's development and results.

Main responsibilities

* Create opportunities for the employees to develop according to our Aspired Culture
* Develop the working process and procedures within the area
* Lead and develop the area fault tracing within EPS
* Be the EPS representative in different foras/workstreams outside Electric Propulsion System Engineering

Required qualifications

* Bachelor degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or several years of relevant experience
* Have minimum 5 years' experience of development work in the automobile industry, knowledge of VCC development process in general and the electrical development process
* Knowledge of on-board diagnostics, testing, electrical architecture, High Voltage Systems & Electrical Safety
* Management experience is meritorious
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken
