Are you ready to take on a crucial IT position at a global industry player? To Sandvik IT Services we’re now looking for an experienced Manager for Cybersecurity Defence Center. Here, you lead our team of defenders; helping us develop and handle complex cybersecurity incidents globally across the company and proactively secure Sandvik by detecting and responding to threats.

About your job
As the manager of the Cybersecurity Defence Center you’re a bridge for your team towards the wider organization in cybersecurity matters. You have extensive interaction with all levels of internal management as well as other teams in the cybersecurity area. By ensuring the right setup and conditions you and your team helps Sandvik stay ahead when we build our digital defense, and you make sure that cybersecurity stays on the organizational radar as new technology evolves.
Cybersecurity Defence Center (CDC) consists today of three main building blocks, Security Operations Center, Incident Response and Architecture/Advisory, with the joint responsibility to continuously monitor and improve Sandvik Groups security posture while preventing, detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity incidents.
Your mission:
Leading and managing the CDC and ensure adequate/skilled staffing.
Build and operate a hybrid Security Operations Center (SOC), including outsourced parts and insourced function.
Contract and establish outsourced parts through managed security services partners.
Establish coordination for detect and response, by create pre-incident and post-incident feedback loop to educate security analysts and enhance detection capability.
Influence and improve existing processes through innovation and operational change.
Oversee all enterprise-wide security incident reporting, including review for compliance with established policies and procedures.
Monitor and report on CDC effectiveness to senior management.
Implement projects and programs that meet Sandvik Group security goals and objectives.
All in all, you’re one of our enablers for making sure that our digital operations and practices are safe and sound. The location of this job is in Stockholm, but part time remote work is an option and travel is included.
What you know and need – this is important
Leadership skills – interest and at least 2 years’ experience in leading senior profiles.
Experience from agile leadership and agile ways of working in an IT organization.
Stays up to date in the threat landscape, techniques, and trends in the cybersecurity realm.
Experienced in managed security services, incident response and security advisory.
A deep understanding of security operations centers, their functions, and roles.
Knowledge in IT strategies.
Previous work with stakeholder management.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
