Manager for Development Team

The main responsibility as Development team manager is to build up and lead software development for a cross-disciplinary team. You are part of the Development & Test unit managing one of several teams reporting to the unit manager.

You will:

•Have direct personnel responsibility and lead the daily assignments.
•Secure that legal demands, labour laws and work environment policies are followed.
•Recruit new competence to the team, educate, coach and inspire the team to perform on a high level.
•Make sure that decided security and service level demand are followed.
•Work in an agile team setup with a mix of IT and Business competences.
•Build up both internal (recruit) and external (source) development capacity.
•Be responsible for ensuring the team’s software quality, design and maintainability.
•Be active in the department’s continuous improvement efforts both by proposing new ideas and by implementing the agreed initiatives in your team.
•Use your experience to help the development team to find better ways of doing things and improve their skills

We are looking for you who have prior experience in working as a manager of a development team in a large IT landscape. It is a merit if you have experience of agile development and competence in SAFe frame work. You have a mature approach to handle changing priorities and communicate complex topics in a pedagogic way. You have strong analytical skills and the ability to see the high level picture and still enjoy working with the details.

As a person you are open to new ideas and constantly looking for improvements. You enjoy working together in the team to deliver business value to our customers and know the importance of building cross functional relationships with both internal stakeholders and vendors.
