Your new team
Our Workday Operations team are responsible for maintaining, analyzing and improving the information in our HCMS for Sandvik globally. It’s a diverse team – including application and information management experts, and an Application Management Service (AMS) partner – supporting the organization and continuously improving structures and processes to produce excellent reporting and reliable HR information quality.
About the job
As you lead the Workday Operations team, you support our common global HR objectives by making sure that our organization always has the HCMS support, templates and updated documentation needed for the daily operations. With a holistic view, you align processes cross-functionally and anchor new functionality with affected stakeholders and areas. Also acting as an important speaking partner, you coordinate and support the business in resolving HR information quality issues – always making sure that everything, including HR information standards, processes and routines, are aligned with the overall directives for Sandvik Group.
By keeping up with trends, new tools and functionalities within the HCMS area, you continuously explore how we can be more efficient and user centric in our setup and you share your knowledge and insights with stakeholders at all levels.
You report to, and act in close collaboration with the Head of HR Technology.
Where’s the office?
This position gives you the flexibility to choose your own working location within a time zone close to Sweden – although some physical presence at our site in Sandviken, Sweden is preferred to strengthen relations and keep good collaborations. Occasional travel to our business units around the world is part of the job.
Your profile
We’re looking for a leader with broad knowledge of IT systems and data management, preferably in connection to HR, who’s been working both strategically and operationally in a global environment. As a motivating leader and a well-developed communicator, you inspire your team towards great results. You’re good at managing projects, and you understand the value of cross-functional collaborations and close contact with stakeholders. We expect an interest in new digital solutions and experience of working with ERP and HCMS systems such as SAP and Workday. As we act in a global setting, you must be fluent in English, verbally and in writing.
You’re characterized by a structured, pragmatic and holistic way of working – you keep deadlines and are good at switching between the details and the bigger picture. With your confidence, leadership skills and a data-driven approach, you respond timely on business requirements and act on both urgent, short-term and long-term objectives.
