Within our End User Services, we support Sandvik globally with end user and connectivity services. For this function we’re now looking for a Manager for our Network Services – someone that brings a broad perspective and a great ability to influence and energize the development of the team. About the job
In this position, you’re accountable for managing all aspects of our services and service production - ensuring a successful delivery to our users while also managing an outsourced environment. You define the content and follow up on service levels both internally and externally. By creating and maintaining service improvements plans, you have full management responsibility for budget, delivery and quality. Broad networks and great collaboration are key in this job, and you establish good relations with key stakeholders and business representatives. By doing so, you contribute to the overall development of our End User Services function within Sandvik IT Services.

On top of this, you’re a motivational and coaching leader for your team of 25 internal resources and external consultants performing network services tasks across the globe, but mainly in Sweden and India. You’re also in charge of managing our main network providers and this means that you need to spend a significant part in operational and tactical supplier steering.

You’ll have flexible working conditions, but your office is in either Stockholm or Sandviken (Sweden). Some national and international travel is normally a natural part of your job.

And what about you?
We’re looking for someone with a bachelor’s in Business Administration or IT, but you might also have gained the relevant experience from a working career. What’s important is your knowledge of global IT delivery and how to manage this within a corporate business. You have previous experience from a leading position, where people and supplier management has been part of your everyday work, and you truly enjoy developing both teams and individuals. We’re an international business, and this means that your communication skills in English and Swedish must be great, both verbally and in writing.

Your personality is key to us! With strong management skills, the ability to form successful customer relations and the knowledge of how to build effective global teams, you’re well suited for this role. You’re passionate about giving the best service, and capable of implementing changes to improve and develop our worldwide operations. Being perceptive and understanding, you easily create a trusting environment for collaboration and for reaching business goals. You also inspire and motivate your team members – creating both team spirit and enthusiasm.
