Sandvik Construction is a business area within the Sandvik Group providing solutions for virtually any construction industry application encompassing such diverse businesses as surface rock quarrying, tunneling, excavation, demolition, road building, recycling and civil engineering.
Supply Chain Finance provides financial expertise and information for operational decision-making and business plan development. We are responsible for the process of providing efficient, reliable and proactive financial support to improve business performance.
We are now looking for a Manager for Supply Business Control, with location in Stockholm. The organization is dynamic with a variety of people and ideas.
Key performance areas
As Manager for Supply Business Control you work as an integral member of the Supply Chain leadership team, providing financial expertise and information for operational decision-making and business plan development. You support the Supply Chain leadership team in achieving their financial targets through implementation and ownership of the performance management process with HR and managing financial data collection, consolidation, analysis and reporting.
Included in your role is to:
- Coordinate annual budgets and financial forecasts in order to drive achievement of annual and strategic objectives
- Coordinate the development and enhancement of costing models, in order to accurately reflect changes in business conditions, and to create one method for cost accounting across all production units
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and/or an MBA. You have at least five years' experience within supply/production finance, as well as of leading a team. You also have experience in continuous improvement, key performance indicators, metrics, best practice assessment, cost accounting and performance management. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, and the ability to interact with all levels of management, are prerequisites.
As a person you are strategic and analytical, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills. You are good at building relationships and able to effectively motivate, influence and develop a team. Further, you have the ability to inspire results at all levels of the organization and the demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects from conception to completion in a fast-paced, global, team environment. You are also willing to become immersed in not just the numbers, but in what is behind the numbers and the related processes.
