The opportunity
HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a product group in Hitachi Energy, which develops, manufactures, and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems.
In this role, you will be part of our supportive and collaborative Engineering organization that supports HVDC projects worldwide. As the Manager for our Tender & FEED Team, you will lead a dedicated group of 5 individuals, ensuring that all tender and FEED activities are handled efficiently and effectively. You will ensure a smooth transition from tender work to project management.
You will collaborate closely with other managers, playing a key role in shaping our dynamic and growing team.

How you’ll make an impact
Manage and guide the tender team, ensuring effective coordination and execution of all project-related activities.
Oversee the tender process, ensuring that all conditions are optimal in the written contracts. This includes careful review and negotiation of contract terms to minimize risks and maximize project success.
Manage day-to-day operations, providing leadership with a focus on progress, addressing challenges, and fostering a supportive environment.
Engage with various stakeholders, especially the sales team, to build a structured and organized approach to our role in the tender process.
Handle employee lifecycle activities such as recruitment, competence development, and performance reviews, nurturing a diverse and talented team.

Your background
You hold a university degree in engineering and have approximately five years of experience in tender management, project management, or a related field.
Experience in people management is considered a bonus.
You inspire and motivate your colleagues, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
You are organized, humble, and excel at building strong relationships with various stakeholders through your excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You are fluent in both English and Swedish.
