In Linköping, we’re developing our camera systems. As a site, our responsibilities range from electronics and optics to software, algorithms and vehicle testing. All vision development teams are working cross-functionally based on agile principles.

What you'll do?

We are now hiring a Manager Functional Safety & Cybersecurity within Vision Development, a newly formed organization within Veoneer at our Linköping office. The department is responsible for developing the next generation Vision platform and reference products integrating both hardware and software. Within Vision Development the teams are working cross-functionally based on Lean and Agile principles.

In your position as Manager Functional Safety & Cybersecurity you will recruit and build upon the existing team members to ensure that we develop safe and secure products. This involves being an active part in setting the strategy for our reference products, in collaboration with other product lines and partners. You will also work and contribute to Veoneer’s global organizations in respective area, including process development. You and your team will act as present leaders in the day-to-day work, where you train and coach teams and individuals to produce safer and more secure solutions.

You will be expected to ensure the quality of your employees’ adherence to established ways of working, as well as helping to improve the methodology within the safety and security field.

As Manager of Functional Safety and Cybersecurity, you will be part of, and contribute to, the department’s management team. Your responsibilities will also include budget and working environment.


What you'll bring:
You have a background in product development and processes from requirements to test coverage, safety and/or security analyses, integrating software and hardware. We believe you are intrigued by the new challenges facing the automotive industry with more complex and powerful hardware and software integrations on the horizon. You do look forward to these new challenges and are capable of balancing the new ways of working that this entails, with classical safety and security paradigms.

The position requires deep knowledge and understanding of how to work with quality aspects such as safety and security. The position requires good leadership skills, that you are clear in your communication, have an analytical ability as well as the ability to make decisions. You are responsive and outgoing and maintain good relationships.

Meriting experiences: work with safety-critical systems or security related work, embedded product development integrating hardware and software, Agile and Lean principles and methods and the automotive industry.

To succeed in this position, we prefer that you have:

- Experience as a Group Manager or equivalent
- Experience in the fields of Functional Safety and/or Cybersecurity (or equivalent)
- Experience in leading others as well as building and developing teams
- Have worked according to Lean and Agile principles in the past
- Good English skills, spoken and written
- Good Swedish skills, spoken and written Minimum Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent
