The ABB Robotics production plant in Västerås is recruiting a manager for the Industrial Engineering function.
This position reports to Manufacturing Unit Manager.
Your responsibilities
Deliver the Production Plant’s capacity and theoretical productivity with securing a state of the art Required to Operate to the Production, System verification and Interna logistics functions
Secure the delivery of the production plants maintenance to the Production, System verification and Internal logistics processes
Deliver the production plant’s project portfolio, project governance and project audits
Own the Factory Master Plan. This includes taking the responsibility for the Factory Layout, product and process Depth of Engagement, investments & project directives, as well as assembly, verification and internal logistics Technology Roadmap
Secure that the Factory Master Plan proactively manage a competitive financial result and is in line with the overall strategy for ABB Robotics
Secure the production plant’s necessary certification, ISO, CE compliance
Introduce, own, and develop World Class Manufacturing (WCM) in synergy with the Robotics Production System. Including governance and audits
Secure the Production Plant’s digitalization, IS ant IT in cooperation with the IS/IT-function
Develop future capabilities and resource balancing to visualize needs and act on gaps related to the factory’s current and future state
Deliver required cooperation with the global engineering function, R&D and other stakeholders
Reinforce and maintains a culture of health & safety in all related development initiatives

Your background
To be successful in this position we look forward to recruiting a strong, experienced and collaborative leader that has cross functional knowledge from primarily, production, logistics, manufacturing engineering, factory maintenance, project and portfolio management and R&D.
A background from the automotive business is beneficial, as well as knowledge and experience from the production system World Class Manufacturing (WCM).
