Manager - International Rock Crushing Projects

Sandvik Construction based in Svedala, Sweden, has an opening for a Manager, International Rock Crushing, Screening, and Drilling Projects Business Support and Development.The manager is responsible for a group of professionals spread out over several departments who design and deliver "greenfield" crushing and screening plants for the construction, quarrying, and mining industries around the world.The manager reports to the Vice-president of Quarry and Civil Engineering.Location: the south of Sweden. Key performance areas The responsibilities of the role include: -Preparation of rock crushing and screening flow charts and budgetary quotes for the Sandvik front line sales regions for selling rock crushing and screening plants.-Preparing rock drilling productivity studies and budgetary quotations for large international/cross regional civil engineering and quarry/mining business development projects.-Managing a Group of Project Managers who are responsible for delivering sold plants at budget, capable of delivering promised rock production.-Projects commissioning and start-up. -Supporting the front line regions with the creation of qualified crushing and screening plant projects applications, and supporting sales teams.-Working with and facilitating coordination with existing crushing projects applications, and supporting engineering and application sales teams in India and France.-Purchasing and outsourcing of steel, electrical components, etc.-Contract Management and projecting financial results. Your profile To meet the requirements of our customers and Sandvik, the successful candidate will have solid "profit and loss" experience and know how to manage complex business processes.We believe the ideal candidate is a high energy starter with a "can do" attitude and more than 15 years of business and supervisory experience, preferably in the area of rock crushing, screening and drilling.International experience is advantageous.This experience is supported by a university degree in engineering or equivalent.With excellent organisational and leadership skills, as well as a good ability to meet project delivery deadlines, you are able to demonstrate a proven track record in heavy construction, quarrying, civil engineering, and/or mining with a passion for success and a strong business orientation.We are looking to hire a customer-oriented, pragmatic, creative individual with superior problem-solving skills.
