Manager IT - PLM and CAD

As part of this transformation, we have created a global organization (100+ people) to update our digital product lifecycle management, configuration and supply chain capabilities to better fulfill our customer needs. We are setting ourselves up to work agile, based on the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) framework. We need a new IT manager for the PLM & CAD area.

Who are you?

You are an experienced leader with a broad understanding of IT deliveries with a focus on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and CAD. You bring passion and deep knowledge for how to enable and create business value in a global context. You can handle complex scenarios, with the ability to analyse, evaluate and act cross business functions in an international enterprise environment. A high level of initiative, drive, persistence and focus on personal development are other of your characteristics.

About the job

As IT manager for the PLM & CAD area you own the (PLM and CAx) platform lifecycle and solution delivery. You will belong to the global Trinity organization, (100+ people) responsible for building the digital backbone of Alfa Laval.  You will report to the Manager for Trinity IT and you will be part of the management team, together with colleagues from both IT and business.

You will manage, coach and develop the individuals in your team, as well as driving change towards an agile and lean mindset. You will be working according to SAFe methodology.

You will work closely with the Product Manager for PLM & CAD and together you are responsible to deliver top class solutions meeting business needs.

What you know
* Platform strategies and roadmaps as well as development, test and project management methodologies, processes and tools.
* Agile WoW, Agile mindset, SAFe
* +5 years’ experience of PLM & CAD and related IT solutions  
* + 3 years’ experience of leading and managing software development and implementation departments, using agile methods and tools
* Strong communication and presentation skills and fluent in business English.
* An interest in and understanding of the business value that the PLM and CAD platforms bring.
