We’re now looking to strengthen our department with a Manager for the team IT Procurement and Software Asset Management. What’s the job all about?
In this position, you lead and develop a team of professionals in the area of staffing, procurement and software asset management. You’re responsible for the planning and coordination of activities involving IT sourcing and professional services, meeting internal clients’ order demands in terms of cost, quantity, quality and time frame. You develop studies and negotiates with suppliers in order to get the best conditions and find new alternatives of sourcing.
You’re also responsible to:
contribute to the development of the organization’s overall sourcing strategy; establishing purchasing budgets, plans, policies, systems, and procedures that will achieve these strategic objectives
identify, evaluate and capitalize on opportunities to reduce purchasing costs by improving the organization’s buying patterns and supply channels
evaluate, negotiate and manage the most complex or strategically important supplier and vendor relationships to secure terms that are in the organization’s best interest
lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of managers and other professionals to ensure that procurement activities meet established targets and standards.
The location for this position is either in Sandviken or at our site Gasverket in Stockholm. However, we do need your presence in Sandviken on a regular basis.
Your character
We’re looking for someone with extensive experience from IT sourcing and professional services, combined with a track record of managing people within leadership position. To be successful in this role you need experience from big international organizations as well as of outsourcing, sourcing strategies and change management. You have advanced stakeholder management skills and we see it as a plus if your knowledge is backed by a university degree in IT, Business Administration or Economy. Working in a global setting calls for excellent English skills, verbally and in writing, and your understanding of Swedish is good.
