Manager Laboratory, Package & Packaging material

This is an opportunity to be part of developing the organisation and the way of working when we now are taking the next steps in increasing our efforts in the Package & Packaging material area and putting even more focus on the performance of our packages.To build further on this, we are also starting our World Class Manufacturing journey to drive continuous improvement and lead time reduction.

We are looking for a lab manager to further develop our package laboratory.We do all package and packaging material evaluations for Tetra Recart, from producing packs, through retorting, integrity testing to transport testing, also including functionality and appearance.The lab is today a group of 9 people.

Your main responsibilities will be to:
-Manage lab and plan package and material evaluations
-Secure availabilty and improve test method performance.
-Set the targets and strategy for the area, develop way of working and scout for new methods.
-Participate in company wide network for package and test methods

Kvalifikationer

We are looking for someone with good insights to package and packaging material evaluation, a team player with management experience, able to drive change, with good communication skills and preferably from laboratory environment.
You have at least 5 years of laboratory experience within the area of food or packaging material as well as previous experience from a managerial position.You have a University degree within engineering or similar.
