Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Manager Manufacturing - Factory Material Flow and Storage to join our team. In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
Key responsibilities
In close collaboration with Manufacturing Process and Equipment Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Digitalization, Program Management, and all other cross-functional teams across the Northvolt Systems, the Manager Factory Material Flow and Storage shall:
· fulfil the governance to manage projects, timelines, track progress on projects focusing on material flow /material handling engineering and material storage
· managing engineers, project leaders and vendors to design industrial material flow and storage solutions
· defines and continuously improve Northvolt Systems material flow and storage blueprint
· assign team members to different projects according to requested scope and qualification /competence
· hires, grows and develops a team to fulfil the teams’ deliverables
Requirement
Qualifications/education/experience
· MS in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
· Minimum 5+ years of experience in managing manufacturing and industrialisation projects.
· 2+ years of people management experience, or equivalent experience leading, guiding and mentoring.
· Extreme time management skills generating both short term and term solutions in parallel.
· Prior experience in complex manufacturing tasks involving multiple technologies and rapid growth
· Knowledge in Manufacturing, Process engineering as well as in PLM, Data Management, MES and other IS/IT related tools
Expert in one or several defined process areas which includes deep knowledge in green field factory development, equipment installation planning, and factory operations.
Knowledge of Supply Base Management, Purchasing, Engineering and Manufacturing.

Specific skills (eg specific programmes, languages, certifications etc)
· Excellent English proficiency
