As a Manager for our Marine workshop you will lead a team of 19 people. This means that you will have a guiding others responsibility where you will guide and develop the team as well as individuals towards efficiency in deliveries and improvements. You will also have an operative and strategic responsibility where you will have a high focus on the working environment.


Further on, you will:
Secure deliveries from workshop in time and with high quality.
Drive method development activities within your team.
Secure resources and competence for the team to meet project targets.
Have financial responsibility for department budget.
Communicate and collaborate with other departments

To be successful in this position we believe that you have a genuine interest in inspiring and developing people. On top of that we believe you have several years of experience from Workshop management or leading people. Technical experience is of course a base requirement. You have the drive to develop your team, the organization and yourself. You are the person who acts with a clear sense of ownership and that you have strong networking and communication skills. We also believe you may have an academic education within the engineering field or other relevant experience.

The Marine workshop team is a committed and proud team located in a fantastic environment, just by the sea in Krossholmen, Torslanda, Gothenburg. The Marine workshop team is responsible for mounting and dismounting our marine drivelines and other Volvo Penta equipment in test boats. The team is also responsible for our boat maintenance. We are on an exciting transformation journey, and our future is Electromobility, hybrid installations and alternative fuels (hydrogen, Biofuels, LNG). You will take an active part of driving the transformation from a workshop perspective, and leading others in the change journey.
