Within the D&E Materials & Package organization, we are looking for a Manager Materials Specialist.
You will have the opportunity to work in an energetic and inspiring team, and in close collaboration with central functions and external partners, delivering new technologies and packaging material solutions. As a manager, you will lead a team of 13 Material Specialists, ensuring appropriate allocation to programmes and Early Innovation activities. Your main internal stakeholders are Material and Package organisation as well as Packaging Material and Additional Materials Programme, while externally you will be the point of contact for our suppliers and universities.
What you will do
In this role you will manage a team of Material Specialists within Development&Engineering Material&Package organization in order to fulfill the company’s 2030 Strategic objectives.
Your main responsibilities:
• Support Programme and Early innovation activities by allocating Materials Specialist resource.
• Drive TKH activities by providing support to competence network leaders and by managing budget.
• Build competences of Specialists and the networks in Materials Solutions.
This position is based in Lund, Sweden and require approximatively 10% travelling, mainly within Sweden and to our site in Modena, Italy.
Who you are
To be successful in this role you need to be a professional, experienced and team-oriented manager. You have the ability to work pro-actively, to delegate and to lead a team in a changing environment. You have a technical interest and drive for results, both for yourself and your team. You have a Master or PhD degree preferably in Chemistry or Material Science. Working experience of around 10 years in the packaging material area as well as and experience from line or project management is expected. Fluency in English is essential, both written and verbal.
