Manager – Mergers & Acquisitions
Group M&A is responsible for evaluating and driving Acquisition and Divestment projects on behalf of and in close cooperation with SKF management.
Together with the Director of M&A, you will be responsible for leading and developing the M&A process within the group. You will have the opportunity to work in a small team, and to network with fantastic SKF colleagues worldwide with the possibility to be engaged in projects of high strategic importance on a worldwide scale.
What you can expect in this role
Screening the market for potential acquisition targets
Developing advanced financial valuation models for valuation of companies
Responsible for establishing the financial fair market value of potential acquisitions and divestment candidates
Preparing the business case and transaction rationale for potential transactions
Project management of divestment and acquisition projects
Negotiation of terms with the buyer/seller of a business
Develop and update tools and processes for M&A and strategic analyses
We expect you to have
University degree in Economics, with a focus on Corporate Finance and Financing.
Extensive experience of hands-on work within Corporate Finance (M&A) running complex transactions either from a corporate perspective or as a financial advisor.
In-depth knowledge of financial valuation models and best practice applications in valuation.
The position requires a person with high integrity and proven skills in business negotiation.
Fluent in English

Some additional information for you
Location: Gothenburg, Sweden. Local contract. A willingness to travel when projects demand so is a prerequisite for this position.
You will report to the Director of Mergers & Acquisitions and Investor Relations, located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
