Description
At Tetra Pak Automation Solutions we create and deliver automation and software based technology platforms used in Tetra Pak's products, services and solutions. One important area is the MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) that Tetra Pak delivers to our customers. As manager for the MES applications team, you will be a leader in a highly professional environment on the cutting edge of manufacturing software development.
The MES team is responsible for developing MES software products that our customers use in their manufacturing facilities with focus on performance, quality and opti-mization. We manage a portfolio of internally developed products and third party solutions with full integration in mind.
We are currently developing a new generation of large-scale MES software products while maintaining a portfolio of legacy products. We are also working to constantly evolve the system architecture of our solutions to optimize interoperability with legacy and third-party systems.
In the team, we have a high level of MES domain and software development skills as well as knowledge about our customers operations. We participate in the entire development process from pre-studies and requirement analysis, implementation and verification of functionality to integration and life-cycle maintenance of the products.
As MES team manager you will lead a highly skilled and dynamic development team with members in Lund and Modena, working within the core of Automation Solutions organization. You will work with the latest technologies and collaborate with experts, leaders and developers world-wide within Tetra Pak to enable business success and further growth.

Main responsibilities
- Lead the team to deliver world class software prod-ucts for food & beverage industries
- Manage a team of software developers, employees and consultants located in Lund and Modena
- Responsibilities for personnel; individual and career development, salary setting, competence evolution, recruitments
- Technology roadmap and lifecycle management responsibilities, including planning and execution of third-level support efforts in close collaboration with our roll-out teams.
- Responsibility for resource availability, allocation and budget
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with solid leadership experience in the software development area. A Master of Science degree or similar is required.
A good command of the English language is required both orally and in writing.
Knowledge or experience within one or more of the following areas is considered a merit:
- Experience from high level software development
- Experience with industrial automation systems
- Thorough, documented experience in software architecture, engineering, analysis and design
- Experience in manufacturing or production information systems
- Food & Beverage manufacturing
