Your profile
* You have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Systems, or Electrical Engineering, or a related polytechnical field of study
* 10+ years of combined experience in technical roles (e.g. Engineering, Proposals, Manufacturing, and/or Services) related to applications with the Medium Gas Turbine (MGT) product line (SGT-800/750/700/600), and possessing demonstrable command of the product reference structure, gas turbine integration and operating principles, electrical generators, control systems, associated packaged equipment and systems, and IT systems (SAP Atlas and Teamcenter PLM2020) used to execute projects with the product line
* 5+ years of experience managing a team of direct-reports and/or leading project-based teams in a Customer Order capacity
* Working knowledge of industry standards – notably from the American Petroleum Institute (API) – and experience adapting product offerings to meet special Customer and application-specific requirements which are typical of the Oil & Gas industry
* Peer-recognized for solving complex problems, developing new business processes, and demonstrating high professional judgement in ambiguous circumstances

Your responsibilities
* Liaises between Sales, Bid Management, and Engineering leaders (in both the Industrial Applications and Generation Divisions) to forecast load, devise resource plans, and commit to schedules for technical documentation prior to handover from Sales to Project Execution
* Sets targets and monitors Engineering productivity (hours and total cost), quality aspects (NCC), and status on key technical deliverables (e.g. drawings, bills of materials, and purchasing specifications) for the portfolio of Customer Projects featuring Medium Gas Turbines
* Monitors and trains the Engineering workforce on MGT product line, Finspång-specific execution software, lessons-learned from past projects, and introduces new processes developed by TM Engineering and the broader Products business unit

* This highly visible position will assemble and serve as In-Company Manager (ICM) for a new, multi-disciplinary Engineering workforce in Finspång, focused on Customer Order projects featuring Medium Gas Turbines in Industrial Applications
* The selected candidate will align and co-develop technical practices for Turbo Machinery Engineering teams based in Duisburg, Finspång, Gurgaon, Le Havre, Lincoln, and Pune, that support the range of product lines that are executed by Industrial Applications in Europe, including Small Gas Turbines (SGT-400/300/100), Turbo Compressors (DATUM/RF/STC), and their associated packaging and control systems.
