About PDU Converged Core
PDU Converged Core (PDU CC) is part of Solution Area Communication Services in Business Area Digital Services. The key offering under PDU CC is IMS which is the central part of VoLTE and also the base for 5G Voice. Currently we are evolving our IMS portfolio into cloud native. The PDU has around 1000 employees globally and an additional 300 staff at suppliers. Apart from being a market leader in IMS, the PDU is also developing new offerings related to Enterprise, Entitlement and Device security in collaboration with partners such as Apple, Samsung and Google.
We are now looking for an experienced leader to head Development Unit MTAS 2 in PDG MTAS & CSCF.
Job description
PDG MTAS&CSCF within PDU Converged Core has design ownership of two key products – PDG MTAS&CSCF within PDU Converged Core has design ownership of two key products – Ericsson Multimedia Telephony Application Server (MTAS) & Ericsson Call Session Control Function (CSCF), within our world-leading global VoLTE-based IMS communication platform. MTAS and CSCF are central nodes in IP based telephony solutions such as VoLTE.

You will be line manager for development unit which consists cross functional teams developing & maintaining our products. You will work closely with supplier teams as well as with other managers leading units as your own, located at other sites in Hungary & India.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with agile development teams to grow high-performing teams
Lead, coach, and develop individuals and teams, guiding them in continuous improvements, team dynamics, successful execution, and technical excellence
Foster a learning, innovative, and creative culture
Nurture people’s personal and professional growth within your unit
Encourage collaboration between your teams and other teams within PDG and across PDU
Secure that the organization has what it needs to contribute to our operations
Recruit and staff your unit

Qualifications
Strong people leadership and coaching skills in line with Ericsson core values.
Strong knowledge and experience in R&D, including lean & agile principles and practices
Business and customer focused with a strong result orientation
Strong communication skills. Good English language skills in both writing and conversation.
Ability to collaborate across organizational borders and in a multinational environment
Technical education on university level required, interested in technical solutions and make them work together with your team – hands-on team work is part of the expectation on the role
