Arbetsbeskrivning
To Sandvik Group Control, we’re looking for a Manager of Group Business Control to join us at our headquarters in Stockholm. Are you eager to impact and streamline our financial operations and at the same time surround yourself with brilliant minds from all parts of our organization? Then this might be the next step in your career!
Briefly about the job
In this position, you lead a team of four people and report directly to the Head of Group Business Control. You’re stepping right into an exciting phase in our area; we’re working on a new consolidation and performance management system where you actively contribute to the design of processes and system-setups and new ways of working. You’re a key in providing efficient, reliable and proactive financial support and analysis to our Group Executive Management (GEM), Board of Directors and other key stakeholders in the organization. You thoroughly understand and improve our business performance, and actively contribute to clarifying the financial implications of decisions that affect the targets for our company.
You have a natural way of making numbers talk, and you bring your insights to the actual results. Paired with this insight you use your organizational skills to ensure high quality and timeliness of the team’s deliverables during the monthly and quarterly closings. Leading, communicating and coordinating the annual planning cycle, our “Three Year Plan” process and the quarterly forecast updates, are other important items on your agenda. You also drive change and manage relevant projects, making sure we collaborate across business areas when driving improvements in our business control community.
Your background and personality
We’re looking for someone with a degree in Finance or Business Administration. You have experience from similar leading positions within Business Control and you’re comfortable working with Excel and other analysis tools, experience from either BPC or OneStream is beneficial. Successfully leading teams or projects are vital parts of your previous career, and you have a strong interest in developing people. We’re a truly global business, which calls for fluency in English, while knowledge of Swedish is beneficial.
You’re a calm and influential leader, who supports your team in prioritizing and making the right decisions. By looking at our operations from different perspectives – both high and low – you make sure we keep our set direction. You’re meticulous and confident, and you quite enjoy the challenge of working with, and managing the expectations of, many diverse areas, functions and stakeholders. With your great communication skills, you easily build strong relationships based on trust and honesty.
