Manager of Operations – Telenor Tower Sweden AB

We are Telenor Tower Sweden, a newly established, independent company within the Telenor Group. We manage and build the network of the future by developing passive telecom infrastructure and act as a partner for our customers in their plans for 5G. Telenor Tower Sweden is a part of the Telenor Group, a large, international organization that goes beyond customers – were we want to play an important role in the societies we serve.

We are now looking for a leader to join the mgmt. team as the Manager of Operations. We are rapidly proceeding with our business establishment and we need people with a natural pro-active drive who wish to make a difference in a leading position on this journey.

What you’ll do

In the role as Manager of Operations you are responsible, together with your team, for all processes in the lifecycle for our technical sites – from acquisition to contract management and change processes all the way to the final decommission. The focus is to, through continuous improvement and modernization, create customer value in the passive infrastructure.

In your role as a leader, you are responsible for a team of employees that develops and manages Telenor Tower Sweden’s own infrastructure and acts as a service provider towards the sister company, and customer, Telenor Sweden AB. This includes maintenance of the passive infrastructure as well as invoice and contract management. Furthermore, there is a responsibility in governance of the interface between Telenor Tower and other Group companies and customers.

Lastly, you will also be a part of the Telenor Tower Sweden’s management team and therefore also be a key figure in driving the company forward in setting the strategy and overall direction for the future of the organization.

Responsibilities within the Team:
* Setting the strategy together with the management team and CEO
* Providing the basis for the revenue model for our mobile and fixed assets
* Site-share and co-location strategy
* Site acquisition strategy
* Technical architecture for our mobile assets
* Site administration and invoicing
* Preventive maintenance
* Site management
* Governance and establishment of processes

Your role as a leader:
* Part of the Telenor Tower Sweden’s management team
* Personnel development and coaching
* Continuously supporting the team in prioritization, planning and setting targets
* Acting on the development and improvement agenda
* Govern and facilitate the dialogue between stakeholders such as Telenor Sweden and Net4Mobility
* Establishing a healthy cooperative environment
* Forecasting and budget.

Who are you?

You are a person who is interested in finding new paths in old lands, solution oriented and always puts progress over perfection. You are a leader with experience of managing a team and enjoy the responsibility of managing the wide spectrum of services provided from the Tower business. Communication should be your game, as it will be a big part of your role as a leader and a part of the management team. Continuous improvement motivates you, no matter how big or small, or in what area of our business it may be. Finally you are well versed in Excel and other MS Office products as working with data and presentations will be an important factor as a basis for decision making within the organization.

Your are fluent in Swedish and English.
