Are you looking for a manager role with in DSO Packing Material here is a great opportunity. This is a broad role which will challenge your leadership abilities. Leading a team of 8 highly skilled development engineers, delivering in projects, but also secure knowledge building.
The role is dynamic with a lot of interactions with Platforms, SCO IBP, acadeimia, external suppliers and within Packaging Material.
Packaging Material Characterisation (PMC) key deliveries are:
-Define PM properties
-Scout and develop techniques to characterise PM
-Develop test methods
-Host and drive Predictive Material Engineering
-Build and Share knowledge and ways of working
PMC delivers into TD, PD and DIPS projects, but also into TKH and issue resolution activities.
Main responsibilities
-Manage the Packaging Material Characterisation team in Lund.
-Contribute to Material Design organisational development and be a member in the MD management team.
-Drive technology leadership and drive competence development.
-Chair DRM meetings and represent MD in S-DRM.
-Secure MD competence in projects.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you need to be a professional, experienced and team oriented manager. You have the ability to work pro-actively, to delegate and to lead a team in a changing environment.
You have a technical interest and drive for results, both for your self and your team.
Quality is a mindset of yours. You are strong in leadership and have the ability to work cross-functionally and build efficient relationships with all levels in the organisation.
We believe that the successful candidate has a Master in Chemical Engineering or Material Science. Working experience in the packaging material area is an advantage and experience from line or project management is expected.
Fluency in English is essential, both written and verbal.
