We work with the latest generation of broadband wireless technology. Our unit is responsible to systemize, design, implement and test software features to control the air interface.
We are looking for a Section manager within the Baseband Technology and L2 SW Sector. The unit is responsible for the scheduler parts of the baseband SW within the 5G product. This position is based in Kista and focused on 5G.
As a Product Development Leader your main tasks will be to secure Ericsson technology leadership and make sure that we have the right products to secure Ericsson´s long- and short-term objectives. You will coach, challenge, and develop individuals, teams, and the organization. We want you to continue to build and foster a creative and learning culture. A large part of your work as a manager will be spent in tight co-operation with colleagues in your team, but also with other units throughout Ericsson. This requires a keen interest in people and an ability to empower teams. We also expect you to have the gift and courage of simplifying complex structures, to develop competence and innovation.
You will report to the head of the Technology and L2 SW Sector within PEU Performance in Kista and be a member of that leadership team.

Experience with real-time embedded/DSP programming.
Experience of being a team leader, project manager or line manager within software development.
Ability to balance short term needs and long-term strategy.
Good understanding of the telecom business and direction.
Respect for deadlines and ability to motivate people under high workload.
Find it stimulating to work with teamwork, have a genuine interest in people and be a good communicator. Ability and to work across organizational and other boundaries.
Large degree of flexibility and willingness to take on different tasks.
