About PEU Radio and Technology Platform Modules
Product Engineering Unit Radio is a new unit within HW Engineering, responsible for development of the Ericsson Radio Portfolio. PEU Radio is responsible to secure technology, including technology strategy and specification of components, modules, and ASICs for future radio products.
Technology Platform Modules (TPM) within PEU Radio has the responsibility to develop signal algorithms used in ASICs (Application Specific Integrated Circuits) and radio products.
About this role
As Manager of Algorithms PIMC, you will be a member of the TPM DP (DPD and PIMC) Leadership Team and an organization instrumental for Ericsson’s overall competitiveness, technology leadership & group profitability!
More specifically, the areas of responsibility cover PIMC (passive intermodulation cancellation) algorithm development. Supporting and enabling the success of pre-development, PIMC IP deliveries through PEU Silicon, as well as the radio product deliverables in collaboration with TPM CPP (Control Platform and Performance).
It is expected to have excellent leadership skills to be able to focus on strategic and operational topics in parallel, and drive your area with technical leadership, drive change, and a strong business focus. You will need to have a collaborative attitude with focus on solving problems and challenges and not let organizational structures be a barrier. You will also create a strong, diverse, and inclusive team culture throughout the TPM and DP organization.
The position is based in Kista, Sweden.
Key responsibilities of the role
Research, pre-development, development, testing and integration of PIMC.
Establish and develop a strong, high performing, diverse team, and build an inclusive culture.
Lead, engage and inspire a multi-site organization within TPM and secure the right capabilities and competence needed.
Secure excellent PEU Silicon collaboration.
Be an active and forward-leaning contributor in the DP leadership team and participate in defining longer term technology strategies and product roadmaps.
Be cost and time to market focused and drive efficiency initiatives throughout the development flow.
Qualification, Skill and Leadership Requirements
5+ years of radio product development experience and proven leader in product development.
Strong domain knowledge and established network to have the needed credibility with teams and stakeholders.
Experience in developing evolving technologies, ASICs, advanced algorithms and Radio Platforms.
Good understanding of radio challenges in the area of interference.
