Manager Process Engineering team

To accelerate the path of improvement of manufacturing, a team of Process engineers will be created within Technical Operations.
The team will consist of a team manager and process engineers dedicated to different production areas.

Role
The Manager leads the process engineer team to provide support for current manufacturing products and processes. The manager ensures the effectiveness of the process engineering group and is responsible for the process performance in working closely together with operations and engineering. In your role you will also:

- Train and mentor the process engineers and lead by example
- Ensure the team manages activities and projects through effective planning, scheduling and follow up
- Improve the robustness of process and optimize performances
- Assess and optimize equipment and equipment related processes to ensure that they run efficiently, effectively and safely
- Drive root cause investigations in relation to inefficient processes, unplanned downtime and excessive waste, in line with equipment and implement corrective/preventative actions accordingly
- Lead and deliver actions related to optimization projects (Make 2 Win, Zero Defect )
- Ensure that engineering SOPs and documentation for production lines are updated and accurate
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality and safety systems

Experience
- Engineering degree or equivalent and strong experience of manufacturing environment (min 10 years). Experience from GMP regulated industry is strongly advantegous
- Managerial- and project management experience is required
- Practical user of Six Sigma tools, such as process mapping, FMEA and DOE. Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred
