You will be part of HVDC within Hitachi Energy in Ludvika. HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power through long distances at minimal loss, using overhead lines, lands and sea cable systems.

Your responsibilities
Overall responsibility for process governance and product reliability for MACH R&D
Ensure R&D project requirements and Products designs comply with internal & external international standards
Ensure proper support to R&D teams to assure designs are done according to required standards
Coach team and individuals in their daily tasks
Develop team and individuals.
Your background
Academic degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical engineering
Documented experience as quality manager for electronics.
Demonstrated experience with international standards & directives (IEC, CE, UL…)
Experience with New Product Introduction for industrial/energy markets
Strong problem-solving mindset / Root Cause Analysis skills
Extensive experience from quality assurance work in product development processes
Experience from the Advanced Quality Planning Approach and in general good understanding of risk management processes across functions – R&D, Supply, Manufacturing
Familiarity with reliability engineering (e.g. FMEA) as a plus
