Strategic Sourcing's mission within the SAS Group is to contribute to a competitive and profitable SAS by ensuring the lowest price and / or cost and minimizing the business risk for externally purchased goods and services. Simultaneously, ensuring the right quality, compliance with requirements, specifications, sustainability and social responsibility. Strategic Sourcing is a category-based organization in order to improve and strengthen SAS' competitiveness. The work of improving the SAS Purchasing process regarding e.g. legal requirements, environment and payment terms are ongoing. We are also responsible for managing and securing the purchasing process and provide efficient purchasing tools and processes.
Manager Procurement Analyst to Strategic Sourcing Business Development
We are now looking for a “Manager Procurement Analyst”, with the responsibility to build a strong analysis function for the department. You will work closely together with Category Managers, Business Units and Business Development to evaluate the needs, challenge cost assumptions and identify cost improvement. The role also includes the responsibility to manage the IT systems required for Strategic Sourcing to succeed in its mission. You are expected to initiate and run development projects across the organization and in close collaboration with other relevant units within SAS.
You will report to the Head of Business Development and the position is in Frösundavik, Stockholm.
Main tasks:
Perform data analyses to identify trends, opportunities and potential risks (risk, cost and spend analyses) to identify future purchasing volumes for different organizational units, categories, product groups and suppliers
Provide analytical support (cost, financial, benchmark, raw material etc.) to the Procurement organization
Follow the price development for SAS' relevant raw materials, products and services
Responsible to ensure that the purchasing department has effective templates, processes and tools and to implement necessary training / information initiatives for efficient use (LEAN)
Responsible for and ensure that the department and SAS have a well-functioning category tree
Responsibility for the eSourcing tool, the spending analysis tool and financial tools within Strategic Sourcing. Be the contact person for these suppliers and have good market knowledge of new solutions and the supplier market in the areas and be responsible for competence training in the tools
Proactively suggest opportunities for improvement in Strategic Sourcing based on information gathering and analysis.
The job requires that you have a strong analytical mindset and are a very good IT user, as you will also be an active part in the work of digitizing our other processes.
Your profile:
It is important that you have great courage, high level of ambition and the ability deliver results.
To succeed, you need to have strong analytical skills, a strategic approach and deep proficiency in Excel and preferably one other BI system.
As a person, you are structured, process-oriented and have a businesslike approach. You speak and write fluent English and one of the Scandinavian languages.
We are looking for you who are primarily a Master of Business Administration or Master of Science in Engineering, preferably with a focus on purchasing and economics, or other academic education that is relevant to the position. Formal education can be replaced by many years of successful professional experience.
Experience from having worked with similar tasks as well as procurements and LEAN in another company is clearly an advantage.
