For our Product Reliability Team, we are now looking for a manager to lead and develop our work to verify performance and drive reliability growth in our products. We do this through improved methods and processes for product verification as well as findings from field issues.
You will guide a team of approximately ten Verification and Reliability Engineers and develop our strategy and capability for testing and verification. This work is a key enabler for us to be able to deliver on our bold new product roadmap into the future!
We are staying vigilant and give feedback challenges from the field to our engineering teams for continuous improvements. You and your team are the go-to source for advice on how to verify reliability requirements, how to design and implement test plans, as well as how to interpret and make conclusions from test result data.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Take ownership of the Product Reliability Team’s vision, mission, and competence development to ensure alignment with the company’s overall strategic plan and goals
• Plan and lead the daily work of the team, enabling efficient and close cooperation with other groups on new product development efforts
• Guide and mentor your team. Ensure adequate capabilities and enable effective and quality assured execution
• Handle the group budget, including prioritize and lead CAPEX investments
WHO YOU ARE
• You have plenty of hands-on experience in advanced hardware test and verification work in the areas of electronics and/or mechanics. We also believe that you hold a relevant degree or formal university education
• You have a good understanding of statistics and the interpretation of test result data, are fact and data driven but you can also make sound decisions in the absence of complete information
• You have experience in coaching teams on what path to take when time and resource constraints requires us to manage risks and ensure the right quality
• You seek ways to improve processes by challenging and suggest improvements
• You develop others through coaching, feedback, exposure and stretch assignments
• You establish and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external customers. You know what motivates different people and align work accordingly. Most important, you ensure that each person feels their contribution are important
• Since we are a global company we expect you to be proficient in Swedish as well as in English. Experience in Six Sigma and/or Lean is meritorious
