With a growing number of customers and orders we are expanding our capabilities in production control and quality assurance, we recruit for the following position:

Role
We are merging a number of functions into this new role and it will be part of Fingerprints Sourcing & Supply team. Starting with an existing small core team, you will be responsible for building this new function?s capabilities.

FPC runs a fabless operation with production outsourced to sub suppliers, mainly in Asia. Under the VP Sourcing and Supply, you will be responsible for getting the product ready for mass production as well as responsible for production control. You will be cooperating with our R&D, Sourcing and planning teams in Supply Chain Management. You will be expected to have a hands-on approach where you will both have the responsibility and execute tasks.

Work tasks
-Support the R&D organization in product and/or technology projects
-Supplier development and supplier improvement programs
-Product and process qualification at sub-supplier factory/ fabrication facilities
-Yield monitoring and yield improvement
-Quality audits at suppliers and partners
-Lead and/or participate in RMA investigations

The work location is Gothenburg. International travel to FPC suppliers and partners will be frequent.

Background
You have a BSc. within automation or similar and your background and experience are within production, in-house or outsourced. Experience from electronics and/or semiconductor industry is a plus, but we welcome candidates with background from other industries as well. Team leader or line manger experience is a merit. You have good understanding of industrialization and production control as well as production documentation, quality systems and methods.

Gemba thinking and drive to work out in the suppliers factories will be important. As a person you are taking initiative beyond regular tasks and making things happen and being able to set priorities and plan tasks with results in mind. You will be working closely with FPC R&D and SCM and you need to have good cooperation skills while maintaining a high level of integrity for production and quality requirements. You need to have excellent English skills both written and verbal. Proficient skills in Microsoft Office and ERP systems are also needed.
