At Scania’s Transmission manufacturing we work with the heart of the eMobility trucks - the production of the driveline. We are now looking for a manager for our production technology team working with prototype production for eMachines and eMobility transmissions.

Your opportunity
This is an opportunity for you to play a key role in a team growing a new organisation with new technical competences within Scania. We are looking for a curious, cooperative leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, who loves to develop people and organisations. We hope you have an interest in international cooperation – your team members are from different parts of the world and we have a close cooperation with the Volkswagen brands and international suppliers.

Your role
You and your team are responsible for the development of our prototype/low volume production lines for eMachines and eMobility transmission parts. The responsibility reaches from process understanding and development over ordering and installation of the equipment to supporting with technical competence during production. The goal is to have real state-of-the-art lines, supporting Scania’s eMobility development.

As a group manager you are responsible for inspiring, coordinating and helping your team reaching our goals. By recruiting and developing people, you build the foundation, so that we have the right competences and organisation in place for our journey. You are also responsible for making sure we have a good cooperation with internal and external organisations to support a fast development.

Your profile

For this position you need previous leadership experience and a proven track record in successfully delivering in your previous roles. You have a university degree in engineering and at least five years professional experience in production technology. Knowledge in eMachine and transmission technology/production is a merit. In our international environment you need to be fluent in English. Knowledge of German is a merit.
