As a Manager for Production Engineering, you will join the Surface Division where we develop and produce geotechnical, surface and exploration drilling equipment with smart digitalization solutions for our customers. In the role as a Manager Production Engineering, you will join a diverse management team consisting strategic managers, flow leaders, supply chain, production project management office and quality.

Your mission
In the role as production engineering manager, you will lead the development of your areas of responsibility and our organization to meet future challenges and to manage the business against set production targets. You will also work with efficiency and development to ensure that we continue to manufacture our products so that we meet and exceed our customer expectations. This is done in cooperation with the rest of the organization.
In this role you will be responsible for the production engineering group at Surface product company in Örebro. You will manage a team with 20 employees in the areas of production engineering and part preparation and you will report directly to production Engineering on operational development manager.
As a Production engineering manager, you will be an agile and flexible operator that take an active role in implementation of Lean transformation program within Surface production. You will work continuously with the development of our production processes. You will develop and optimize production flows and station areas in the most efficient manner with continuous improvements based on our approach Epiroc Flow.
In combination with the optimization of the production flows, you should also develop flexibility and agility within your area of responsibility that can handle fluctuations in the market without compromising customer deliveries or bottom-line result.
You will take an active part and drive relevant smarter production initiatives to support digitalization, automation and visualization within various production areas.
Your profile
For this position we are looking for you who have solid engineering background with experience from production engineering and/or manufacturing industry.
You have a great track record as a leader and you value x-functional team work. Both you and others see you as a courageous leader that set, inspires and follow good examples.

You have experience from digital transformation initiatives such as manufacturing execution system, implementation and/or product life cycle management.
It is a plus if you have worked in a LEAN oriented environment as a daily factor in your previous work.
The role requires that you have good Swedish and English skills, both verbal and written.

Location and travel
This position is located in Norra Bro Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
