Manager Production Imaging and Industrial Automation

We are now looking for a Manager for the Production Systems Imaging and Industrial Automation team within Product Engineering and Technology (PET).

Who is your future team?
You will be responsible for a growing team of software engineers and imaging engineers that work with Axis Production Systems in a workplace with friendly and highly skilled people. The team is an important part of Axis product development, and all Axis products are manufactured using our systems and machines. Programming languages used are e.g. C#, C++, Python and Beckhoff PLC and we use tools such as Jira, TeamCity, Git and Gerrit.

This unit consists of three subteams, one focusing on machine focused programming, one team focusing on imaging modules and imaging tests for production and one team focusing on supporting our R&D projects in using our systems during industrialization. Since our systems are used by various parts of Axis, it also includes a lot of collaboration with other departments and projects at Axis. Knowledge sharing and collaboration are key elements, as well as keeping the warm and positive team spirit that the team and PET is well-known for.

What will you do?​
As an Engineering Manager you will be leading the team in both strategic and operational areas. You will be part of a management team within PET and develop the vision and strategies for SW development of our production systems.

The main tasks include;

* Develop, lead, and support your team members
* Resource allocations with clear prioritizations
* Collaborate with other teams within R&D to drive technology development and sync activities
* Work with and maintain close collaboration with other units at Axis, as well as with external parties such as contract manufacturers and sub-contractors

* Take leadership and support continuous improvements in way of working

Who are you?​
You enjoy developing both technology and people. You are communicative and sociable: teamwork and collaboration are essential to your success at Axis. You understand the big picture and how to translate it into daily work and small frequent deliveries. You have a genuine interest in software development and like to keep yourself up to date with software technology and development methodology.

You have:

* Technical university degree and technical interest
* Excellent English and Swedish skills, written and verbal
* Experience in leading agile software teams
* At least 5 years of leadership experience

Meriting:

* Experience with software teams that work closely with hardware
* Good knowledge of technical production development
* Experience of working in international companies
