Who is your future team?
Sourcing and Project Purchasing is part of the Global Industrialization & Sourcing department, which consist of Axis' global functions within industrialization, sourcing and production technology development. All in all we are 170 motivated and skilled individuals working together to take Axis' products from the drawing board to volume production.

What you'll do here as Manager Project Purchasing
As Manager Project Purchasing you, together with your team of 10 purchasers, will play a central role in the industrialization of Axis' products. The Project Purchasing team is responsible for negotiating terms, especially cost, and selecting suppliers during product development. This is done in close collaboration with our commodity teams. Another important task is to make sure Axis manufacturing partners secure material for project builds and production ramp up, and to provide help in this if needed.

You will develop and manage your team and work closely mainly with two peer Sourcing Managers. You are expected to set and achieve challenging sourcing and individual goals in line with Axis overall goals, as well as to coach and support your team members, who are assigned to product development projects.

In this role your responsibilities will be:

* Initiate and drive improvement activities within the area of project purchase to make sure that we have the right competence, processes and tools
* Make sure that routines are continuously updated, documented and applied
* Cooperate closely with other departments within Axis, particularly with R&D, and with Axis' contract manufacturers
* Take active part in the management of product development projects by participation in project steering groups

Who are we looking for/Who are you?
A successful candidate for this position should be a driven, helpful team person with excellent management skills. We believe you have solid supply chain and sourcing experience within an international environment, as well as documented leadership experience. You simply love to manage and develop your employees in their roles.
You enjoy high pace in a demanding work environment and you have good ability to establish professional connections and collaborate across organizational borders. To be structured and strong at implementing and finalizing tasks is also key to succeed in this role.

We'd love to hear that you have:

* A few years' industrialization or product development experience
* Experience from the electronics industry
