Manager QES Operations

Our current position holder will move on to new challenges in the organisation and we therefore recruit a Manager QES, Operations Braås.At the Braås site you will have the main responsibility to set directions, develop and secure activities within the area of Quality, Environmental and Safety. We are now driving improvements in a high pace by implementing the Volvo Production System, and your contribution will have a big impact on our future success.As the head of QES you will have the responsibility for the department including: Quality development and audit.Supplier Quality Engineering, Facility management, Environmental and safety, in total approx 20 persons.You will be responsible to lead the implementation of the new Volvo CE Operational Management System at the site, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS18001.You will also manage and assure its execution. You will report to the site manager and be an active player in the Management team Operations Braås. Qualifications: Master of Science or equivalent experience Extensive experience within the QES-area, (TQM) preferable within an industrial operation Good knowledge about Quality, safety and environmental management systems, Audit skills High level of autonomy and initiative Result oriented Managerial experience and interest in leadership and development of co-workers Good skills in written communication and documentation structure and networking skills.English, written and spoken It's important that you within an operation have the ability to understand the different processes and functions and the relationships in between.This means that you are process oriented with a broad operational knowledge and a holistic view.
