We are recruiting a dedicated manager for Quality & Production Engineering to the Processing Pro-duction Centre Lund within Tetra Pak® Processing Systems. The creation of a Production Centre is an important part in the overall strategy to drive competitiveness and deliver sustainable, profitable growth. Main objectives are; safety - zero accident vision, improve quality - zero defects vision, improve flexibility in meeting fluctuations, shorten delivery times and reduce cost
As Manager for Quality and Production Engineering you will be responsible for all quality control, production equipment maintenance and production engineering in PPCL. You will be a part of the management team setting and committing to long term strategic direction and targets. Our mission, together with our Business Units, is to develop and deliver high quality and cost-efficient solutions with short delivery time to our customers.
You will be in charge of 12 people and report to the PPCL Manager.
Main responsibilities
-Develop and lead production engineering, maintenance and quality within PPCL
-Lead activities according to visual management
-Secure available capability and support total flexibility within PPCL
Drive occupational health, environment and safety
-Make continuous improvement through support and drive of WCM
-Secure structure for the quality control within the PPCL, e g within the production flow, gods receive
-Drive and secure relevant internal quality audits
-Support stakeholders outside PPCL
-Act as PPCL main driver for quality related issues
-Ownership of manufacturing equipment and overall maintenance
-PPCL participant in PD steering team
-Handle system for KPI efficiency
-Clarify and coordinate "best practice" owner of production guidelines
-Make budget and plans, set targets and follow up activities within the department/competence area
-Ownership of Capital Equipment and Supply Chain swim lane in PCR process
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you need to be a result oriented leader who is able to balance the long-term with the short and invite people to share their views. You are a team player with a high level of integrity and solid experience, about 5-7 years, from leading a large team as a manager. It is required that you have a technical education. You have previous experience from quality control, production engineering and product development as well as competence from pressure vessels. You know how to deal with certificates within this area and you are IWS certified.
You are a listener with informal authority which makes people willing to listen to you. Furthermore, your communication is clear and you drive through change and know when to seek compromises as well as when and where to draw the line.
