Motivate, inspire and lead our specialists
In this role you will lead our highly skilled team of R&D specialists in Karlskrona. The main purpose of this role is to maintain and develop the team and the business in tight collaboration - not only in Karlskrona - but also with our sites in Cologne, Västerås and Alingsås. You will be responsible for ensuring your team´s competence, knowledge and capacity required for our projects. Ensuring that the team is skilled for future projects together with other departments is of high importance. Another key factor is to inspire, develop and motivate your team. Your own technical knowledge and understanding will make an important contribution to the team members.
Your primary tasks will be:
Prioritize and distribute tasks
Ensure your team can contribute in the most optimal way for NKT
Administrative management
Competence Management

You will report to the R&D Director in Karlskrona, alongside a team of 9 R&D project managers.

Inspiring, enthusiastic leader with high technical interest
As a leader you motivate, inspire and lead the team to accomplish tasks and milestones, by providing support through both practical advice as well as action. Your energy and enthusiasm effects your team in a positive way leading to successful execution of the projects.
Your strong communication skills allow you to effectively communicate both internally and externally as well as building and maintaining strong relationships. You thrive in a role where you need to take high responsibility and effectively collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members.
Additionally, your CV includes:
MSc degree in Engineering or equivalent
Former leadership or team lead experience – preferably from a technical team
Fluency in spoken and written Swedish and English
