What does the role entail?
This is a unique and exciting role that forms part of the site management team in Degerfors to take ownership and accountability for Outokumpu group’s reliability program through the development of world class asset-management and equipment reliability governance and processes. Reducing the need for maintenance by designing a framework and developing an organization dedicated to reliability. The critical success factor to embed the program within the organization, empowering each business unit to drive change and improvement to the way assets are viewed and managed.
Working autonomously, you will support the organizational design, the definition of roles and responsibilities for reliability. Defining and measuring success metrics and monitoring change processes to ensure reliability goals and improvements are being met. As an inspirational change leader, you’ll lead through others and inspire them to take responsibility and feel true ownership of the reliability work.
You report to the Site Manager in Degerfors as a key advisor for reliability. You also have a “dotted line” to the Global Reliability Manager and will experience a close collaboration with change leaders in other Outokumpu operations in Europe.
Who are you?
Master of Science in e.g. Mechanical Engineering or experience we value as equivalent
Experience in a production environment with industrial / equipment / machinery
Experience in Total Predictive Maintenance (TPM) is beneficial
Trained in process excellence (Lean Sigma, Black Belt or equivalent)
Fluency in Swedish & English language
You have a coaching approach to leadership and is a natural leader in cultural changes. You are result-oriented, driven, analytical and proactive. You are a clear communicator and knows what makes communication effective.
