Job Description
Service Market Technology is now looking for a Manager for Service Engineering & Information Management (SEIM).
The SEIM group is structured in three main areas divided on approximately twelve members with some additional work packages. Within the Service Engineering area we continuously move towards increased virtual development in combination with the team’s strong knowledge of end user requirements. Within the Technical Information area, we have new end users outside the workshop to support with technical information, for example Rescue Personnel. Within the Maintenance Program area, we are currently developing a completely new way of working to become more data driven and use data analysis in our development work.


THINGS YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
In this position you will be the product owner for optimized service and repair solutions to maximize uptime and create competitive advantage in the service market business. You will define, agree, communicate, and execute strategies and the global footprint. You and your team are a vital part of the Volvo Bus value chain which means that you will need to agree on your deliverables with stakeholders and then deliver on commitments. We are a global organization which will require you to secure common ways of working globally.


THIS PROBABLY DEFINES YOU
Experience from management position, preferably with agile experiences
Minimum two years of experience from Service Market and/or Product Development within the automotive industry.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent competence
Clear leadership and communication skills
High integrity, trust, and ability to follow through
Experience from working with continuous improvement processes
Experience from Service Engineering
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
