Väderstad is seeking an experienced and dedicated Manager Smart Machine IT to join our innovative team. As a leading agricultural machinery company, we are committed to revolutionizing the industry through the development of cutting-edge Smart Machines products and services. As our new manager, you will work in a new and exciting business area at Väderstad called Smart Machines. This business area is responsible for making our machines connected and autonomous. As a first step, you will lead the team tasked with building up the cloud infrastructure to receive telemetry and other data from our machines via the Internet-of-Things and then storing, analyzing and presenting this information in apps developed for the farmers who are our end-customers.
Key responsibilities
Manage the Smart Machines team at IT: recruiting, developing and coaching members of the various development teams.
Act as the technical product owner for Smart Machines products and services at IT. This includes management the products’ backlogs, communicating product strategies, participating in sprint planning, sprint reviews, backlog refinements, and retrospectives together with the developer teams.
Plan, coordinate and execute projects as well as supporting in the work to develop product strategies and roadmaps together with Smart Machines representatives at Business Development and Research and Development.
Other IT management roles?

Leading and developing employees by setting clear business objectives and providing coaching and leadership to maximize business success and support local- and IT enterprise initiatives, maintaining continuous communication with key stakeholders, ensuring they are informed about the progress, deviations, delays, and any other project-related issues. You are collaborating closely with the Director of Product Management Smart Machines and Director of Product Development Smart Machines to develop, execute, and maintain product strategies, budgets, recruitments, and projects.
You are also leading and coordinating IT work in Smart Machines projects as determined by the Product Board, Product Business Team Smart Machines, or Director of Product Management Smart Machines.
We expect you to have/be
Bachelor’s or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, related field, or equivalent work experience.
You have previously worked with leading development of modern end customer solutions, you have vast experience from working within IT and additionally to this you have experience from leadership responsibilities, including strategy, budgeting, and staffing.
You have a proven track record of implementing Agile teams

This position is to be based in Linköping.
You will report to Anders Karlsson, Vice President IT.
