Manager Sourcing of Indirect Material, IT and Services

Valueone is recruiting a Manager Sourcing of Indirect Material, IT and Services for production related equipment for Polarium in Stockholm. If you have experience from procurement of IT agreements, production equipment and knowledge from sourcing and supplier relation management on a global market you could be the one we are looking for.

The role

The role as Manager Sourcing of Indirect Material, IT and Services means that you will be responsible for sourcing of indirect material, IT solutions and production related equipment for Polarium globally. You will lead and manage IT and system negotiations, RFQ processes and supplier relation management in continuous interaction with key stakeholder related to equipment suppliers, agreements and related tasks.

Main tasks:

Lead and manage system and IT negotiations.
Manage daily activities and improvements in sourcing of indirect material, equipment and other related areas including internal and external interaction.
Lead and manage various RFx from start to end, which includes to facilitate the entire process, through supplier evaluations, supplier selection, implementation ordering and delivery.
Manage sourcing documents, agreements, and related documents.
Continuously strive to optimize cost supporting Polarium strategies and business plans.
Consult with various stakeholders on supplier management related matters.
Manage supplier relationships and performance, including but not limited to dispute resolution and periodic business reviews.

Experience and competencies

The role demands at least five years’ experience of IT sourcing and procurement of production equipment and assets from international manufacturing companies. You also need to have experience in sourcing and supplier relation management in a global supplier base environment. In addition, knowledge from working with Asian and Chinese suppliers is required. Technical education and/or experience from manufacturing industry and production equipment is highly valued. Fluency in English, spoken and written, is necessary.
