Alfa Laval Global Sourcing is looking for a Manager Sourcing Office

Alfa Laval Sourcing operates in a global environment and manages 65% of cost of goods sold through effective supplier relationship management. We interact with all major Business Units securing optimal supplier performance for our all our product and service needs. We are a process-oriented organization with a global focus and local presence. Under the umbrella of “One Alfa Laval Sourcing” we work in collaboration with our global colleagues following our key priorities Sustainability, Quality, Delivery and Cost.

About the job

The overall mission for Global Sourcing Office is to secure development of the sourcing and procurement people, processes and tools to capture the value in our supply chains. Your role as Manager Sourcing Office is to lead and manage the team to develop strategy, best practice and policy projects that drives Alfa Laval sourcing towards world class. You combine the internal work with external input by monitoring the environment for new trends and technology from different sources.   

Your main focus areas include:
* Develop and lead the Sourcing Office team
* Lead and manage strategic commodity development process
* Lead development of processes and digitalization of tools
* Manage communication and training of global sourcing network
* Lead and manage policy development for Source to Pay process
* Track and monitor internal compliance
* Be the spokesperson for Source process in internal networks.

In addition to your direct reporting team, you work closely with stakeholders in all Business Units, Legal, CSR, IT and external contacts. The position is located in Lund and you will report to Peter Börjesson VP Global Sourcing and be a member of the Global Sourcing management team.

Who are you?

We are looking for a person with a strong business understanding combined with a genuine interest driving change. You are strategical but with a strong sense of delivering tangible results. You have experience from leading strategic development projects, preferable using Lean Six Sigma methodology drive projects effectively. You have experience from sourcing, procurement or supply chain management and you are keen to develop others. You bring proven leadership, change management, communication and good networking skills to this role.

What you know

You have a degree in Business Admin or Science or equivalent and have a solid background from a leading position within sourcing and supply chain, preferably with an international experience.
