We are looking for a new Head of Storage and Material Handling for the Manufacturing organisation within Production organisation of Business area Surveillance. You will play a major role in setting an efficient way of working where continuous improvement is a natural part in every day work and you will be part of a team where each member contributes with their individual experiences and skills to create a professional and dynamic environment!
Your role
Storage and Material Handling is one of eight sections within the Manufacturing organisation. Main responsibilities is to secure supply to manufacturing timely and in demanded quality, ensure an efficient structure, a clear warehouse strategy and ensure that handling of articles for storage is in compliance with demands. The second main responsibility is to handle shipment of products to customers. Ensure that documentation/packaging is in order and reserve needed transport solutions.
Your responsibility will include a team of 14 employees.
Main tasks:
* Empower and lead your employees through value driven leadership
* Create and ensure fulfillment of strategy and improvement for an efficient storage and material handling
* Ensure robust ways of working within the section Storage and Material handling, and drive continuous improvements to ways of working
* Drive staff development on individual and team level
* Communication and cooperation with internal and external interfaces
* Ensure that the staff has the correct level of training for tasks in the assignment
* Strengthen the team for driving improved proactivity and precision on the deliveries from storage to manufacturing and to customers
Your profile
In order to succeed in this role you are preferably a driven individual with good people skills and with great capability to learn new things. You thrive in balancing work between daily operations management and developing long-term strategic goals for the department.
You have documented problem solving and change management skills. As a person, we believe you to be curious, structured and with a deep desire to affect your surroundings in a positive way.
Required skills:
* Academic degree or relevant working experience
* Minimum one year of proven ability and interest in leading, developing and challenging employees and teams
* Excellent Communication skills
* Good knowledge in staff development on individual and team level
* Ability to combine strategic thinking with operational actions
* Good skills in spoken and written Swedish and English
Desired skills:
* Experience from working with storage matters or material flow
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

Within the Manufacturing organisation, as part of the Production organisation, there are eight sections including Store and Material Handling. The product portfolio is recognized by low volume and high mix which carries implications within the organization.
